Frankly, I never have been able to distinguish Alokebabu , Amarnath and Usharanjan Mukhopadhay's style from Amir Khan's style. They were so so similar in respect of lower and mid-octave swara concentration, ultra - slow laya and low pitched voice production.

At the age of 14 years he got golden Vina for his best performace in all India Classical song competion.

According to the entry in his diary ' Manasi ' dated 5th January 1932, the filming of the Talkie as it was then called was done in Jan. 1932 in Calcutta. In a big hall, the stage was designed by Surenbabu. Six electric bulbs each of 15000 c.p. were switched on. Among others, Maya and Tatu also acted in it.
